Welcome to the PNC Downtown Raleigh Movie Series

We feature FREE outdoor movies for six consecutive Friday nights in the heart of downtown Raleigh from May 26-June 30, 2017. This year’s theme is #FlashbackComedies, so bring the kids, grab some dinner, and enjoy great flashback comedy films!

Important Facts

What Time Should I Arrive?

Enjoy craft beer, food trucks, and other vendors starting at 5 pm on event days. Movies play at dusk. Get there early to secure your seat!

What Time do The Movies Start?

It needs to be dark in order to see the movies well, so movies begin at dusk.

Do You Provide Seating?

We provide a limited number of chairs, on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees are also encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs.

What Food Trucks Will Be Present?

We have an excellent selection of food trucks and other food vendors.  Please see below for a full a list of food trucks and food vendors scheduled to be present on event days.

Does the Event Go On Rain or Shine?

Unfortunately, both the movie screen and the movie equipment cannot handle rain, so we will have to cancel if the weather is bad (do you really want to watch an outdoor movie in the rain?). We will do our best to get the word quickly out via the website and our social media channels if a cancellation does occur. We do not have rain make up dates.

Can I Bring My Own Food and Drink?

You are more than welcome to bring snacks to the event! Due to our permits, outside alcohol is not allowed at the event. We will, however, be selling local craft beer, and wine for just $6 each. We now accept both cash and credit cards.
